Jobber is scheduling, quoting and invoicing software for home service businesses. Its plans run from Core at $49 a month to Plus at $499 a month on the monthly plans shown, and it fits a shop that wants that work in one place. Shops look elsewhere for ordinary reasons: a different price shape, a bigger platform for dispatch and billing, or a different way to handle phones. Jobber's terms also separate monthly billing from annual commitments, so read them before you compare totals.

Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro fits a shop that wants a close match to Jobber: scheduling, dispatch, invoicing and payments in one tool. Plans are Basic $59, Essentials $149 and Max $299 a month, billed annually, and monthly billing costs more. Its CSR AI answers calls and chat as a paid add-on with no published price. See our Housecall Pro page for the full list, or Jobber vs Housecall Pro for the two side by side.
ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan fits larger shops that want dispatch, billing and reporting in one platform, in trades like HVAC, plumbing and electrical. All three of its tiers show "Request Pricing", so you need a quote before you can compare. Its Virtual Agent is listed at $2.75 per voice call and $0.10 for SMS, billed monthly. Ask which core plan the agent needs. More on our ServiceTitan page.
Service Fusion
Service Fusion fits a shop with a growing crew that wants one price whatever the headcount. Its pricing page lists unlimited users on every plan, with Starter at $208, Plus at $325 and Pro at $533 a month billed annually. Monthly billing is $245, $382 and $627. Its page says annual plans carry a 15% discount and that all plans are month to month. We have no comparison page for it, so check its AI and phone options with Service Fusion directly.
Workiz
Workiz fits shops that want phone features close to the job tool. Its pricing page names Standard, Pro and Ultimate but shows "Request pricing" for each. It also lists Genius Answering, which answers calls and messages 24/7, as a separate add-on with no price shown. Ask for a written quote that includes any add-on you want.
Do you need to switch software at all?
We build SvarKlar, so judge our fit yourself. SvarKlar is not a replacement for job software. It answers calls, texts back missed callers and replies to new leads in seconds, on top of whichever tool you keep, whether that is Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan or another. Frederik, the founder, sets it up and runs the channels and tasks listed in your written order.
So a shop whose real problem is missed calls may not need a new platform. If scheduling, quoting and invoicing work for you today, the cheaper fix may be covering the phone. If the software itself is what holds you back, one of the four above is the better answer, and Frederik will say so. SvarKlar is $295 a month, setup is free, and you can cancel any time. Our Jobber page shows how Jobber's own AI Receptionist compares, and the HVAC guides show what those first calls look like.
Questions
Do I have to leave Jobber to stop missing calls?
Not always. Jobber has its own AI Receptionist add-on on selected plans, and a service like SvarKlar can also cover the phone while you stay on Jobber. Which is better depends on the channels you need and what the add-on covers on your plan.
Which alternative has the lowest published price?
Of the four, Housecall Pro's Basic plan at $59 a month billed annually is the lowest number published. ServiceTitan and Workiz publish no plan prices. Plans differ in what they include, so compare features and add-ons as well as the headline number.
What should I ask before switching?
Ask what customer, job and invoice data the new tool can import, what the contract term is, and what the phone or AI add-on costs in writing. Test a real booking and a real call transfer during the trial or demo before you commit. Weighing a different tool? See our Housecall Pro alternatives, ServiceTitan alternatives and Podium alternatives guides.
Can SvarKlar work with the software I already use?
SvarKlar works next to tools like ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro and Jobber and does not replace them.
