ServiceTitan vs SvarKlar for trade businesses

ServiceTitan runs your whole shop: dispatch, invoicing, payroll, and an AI Virtual Agent that books jobs. SvarKlar is a standalone AI employee that answers calls and texts fast, no new operations platform required. Here is how they differ on price, setup, and fit, with every claim linked to its source.

ServiceTitan and SvarKlar both promise fewer missed jobs. They start from opposite ends. ServiceTitan runs your whole operation, with an AI Virtual Agent bolted on top. SvarKlar is built to answer calls and texts first, with nothing else to run.

What ServiceTitan actually is

ServiceTitan calls itself the number one software for commercial and residential trades, and it backs the claim with real range. The platform covers dispatch, scheduling, invoicing, payroll, fleet management, and pricebook, built for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, pest control, landscaping, and a dozen other trades. Pricing runs on three tiers: Starter, Essentials, and The Works, charged per technician. None of the three show a number; every tier links to a Request Pricing form.

Where the AI Virtual Agent fits

The AI Virtual Agent is not a ServiceTitan product on its own. It lives inside Contact Center Pro, one of seven add-ons ServiceTitan groups under Pro Products, and it only works once you already run the core platform. Once it is live, it answers phone calls and texts through ServiceTitan's own tracking numbers, checks real technician capacity, books the job, confirms or reschedules existing appointments, and hands off to a live rep when a call needs one. ServiceTitan says implementation takes about 20 minutes. One customer, Northwinds Services Group, reports a booking rate between 80 and 85 percent; ServiceTitan's own capacity-adjusted figure across customers is 90 percent, 70 percent overall. The page also carries a plain disclaimer: past performance does not guarantee future results.

SvarKlar, without the enterprise platform

SvarKlar is one AI employee, not a platform. It answers texts, web forms, social messages, and the calls you miss, in writing, within seconds, and a live AI voice option sits on the phone line too. It asks the questions a sharp dispatcher would, quotes the job, and books the visit. Fred, the founder, sets it up with your business and keeps running it. There is no operations software to adopt underneath it. If the category is new to you, start with what an AI receptionist is.

Platform first, or answering first

The real split here is not the AI itself. It is what you have to buy to get it. ServiceTitan's Virtual Agent only ships to shops already paying for the core platform, then paying again for Contact Center Pro on top, and both prices are quote-only. That is a fair trade if you also want dispatch, fleet, payroll, and invoicing running on one system. ServiceTitan is built for exactly that. SvarKlar does not ask you to change your operations software at all. Fred wires the AI into your calendar and the tools you already run, and the price is one number from a single call.

Who ServiceTitan is built for

Pick ServiceTitan if you are running, or ready to run, a multi-truck operation and want dispatch, fleet, payroll, and invoicing on one platform. The Virtual Agent is a genuine bonus once you are already in that ecosystem, and the booking-rate numbers on its own page are solid. It is a bigger commitment: two purchases, both unpriced until a sales call, and a full platform switch if you are not on ServiceTitan already.

Who SvarKlar is built for

We built SvarKlar, and we're not pretending otherwise: if dispatch, fleet, and payroll are not your problem, buying an enterprise platform to get an AI receptionist is a lot of software for one feature. Most missed jobs come down to the same thing: a call that rings while dispatch is juggling six trucks at once, a web form sitting in an inbox between invoicing runs, a text nobody sees until the crew is back from a job across town. SvarKlar answers all of that in seconds without asking you to run a new system underneath it.

Whoever answers the lead first usually wins the job, that much both tools agree on. ServiceTitan answers inside a full operations platform you buy into. SvarKlar answers first, on its own, with one founder behind it.

A call is a short look at your inbound together: what is actually costing you jobs today, and whether that is a software problem or an answering problem. If ServiceTitan is genuinely the better fit for your shop, Fred will say so.
