Searching for Dialpad pricing usually means one of two jobs: replacing a phone system, or getting calls answered when nobody picks up. Dialpad prices the first per seat and the second per conversation.

Dialpad pricing per user, worked out

Dialpad splits its plans into Connect, Sell and Support. Connect is the plain business phone: Standard at $15 and Pro at $25 a user a month billed annually, or $27 and $35 billed monthly (Dialpad overview), with Enterprise quoted. Pro adds HubSpot, Salesforce and Zapier, auto recording on shared lines and 24/7 support. Sell, for outbound teams, runs $39 to $79 a user a month billed annually, or $49 to $70 monthly; Premium is annual only. Support, for contact centers, runs $89 to $149 billed annually, or $109 to $145 monthly; Premium is annual only. A five-person shop on Connect Pro pays 5 x $25 = $125 a month billed annually, or 5 x $35 = $175 billed monthly, before taxes.

Dialpad AI receptionist pricing

The receptionist page says Dialpad's AI agents answer calls around the clock, route them by intent and book simple appointments. Dialpad's AI agent rates page prices each voice conversation at $1.99 and each text or chat at $0.99. Its help center says a conversation is billed when the caller talks to the agent, the agent does a task and the session closes, even after a transfer. Dialpad's pricing page names routing as a billable action, next to scheduling and order lookup. So a call the agent only passes to a person can still cost $1.99. At 100 billable voice conversations a month, the agent alone is 100 x $1.99 = $199.

What a Dialpad plan does not settle

Dialpad does not say which plans can add the AI agent. The voice agent can answer a Main Line or a Department, which a Connect account has. Extra local and toll-free numbers are paid add-ons, and the pricing page shows no price for them. A free trial cannot add numbers. Its help center still says its AI chat agent is in an Early Adopter Program and not yet open to all users. Early Adopter access is by sign-up through Dialpad. Its bugs get lower priority. Dialpad says a minimum user count applies to invoiced contracts, but gives no number. Ask sales in writing before you count on it. Dialpad calls AI credits a commitment that resets each billing cycle. Ask sales if unused credits carry over.

What SvarKlar does with a missed lead

SvarKlar answers your calls and messages, texts back callers who hang up, and books the job or callback. The AI tells people it is an AI when they ask. New to the category? Our plain guide to AI receptionists covers the basics.

When you need Dialpad's phone system

If your team needs shared numbers, desk phones, meetings and call recording across several people, Dialpad is a phone platform and SvarKlar is not one. Its 14-day Connect trial costs nothing to try. Pick it for the phone system, and price its AI part from the per-conversation rates.

When a founder-run service fits better

We sell SvarKlar, so read this part knowing that. A shop with one office line and a crew in trucks may not need Dialpad seats, only every call answered. If your trouble is the lead who rings once, gets voicemail and calls the next shop, that is the job SvarKlar covers. Our list of the best AI receptionist for service businesses compares more options.

A Dialpad bill grows with each seat and each AI conversation. SvarKlar adds nothing per call or message.

Dialpad questions

How much is Dialpad's AI agent?

$1.99 for each billable voice conversation and $0.99 for each text or chat, paid from prepaid credits. When credits run out, the agents pause unless auto-recharge is on. Source: Dialpad AI agent rates.

Does Dialpad's AI agent speak Spanish?

Not yet. Dialpad says its agentic AI agents are available in English, with other languages coming soon. Dialpad AI transcripts and recaps do support Spanish. Source: Dialpad help.

Does Dialpad work with ServiceTitan or Jobber?

ServiceTitan sells its own phone add-on, Phones Pro, which its help center calls a direct integration with Dialpad. Its Dialpad app cannot text customers, so ServiceTitan points you to its own Chat. ServiceTitan's own Voice Agent, bought separately, books jobs from overflow and after-hours calls. Dialpad's help center names neither ServiceTitan nor Jobber. Zapier links Dialpad and Jobber, so a Dialpad call can create a Jobber client. Zapier needs Connect Pro or Enterprise, or a Sell or Support seat. Source: ServiceTitan help.

Is there a Dialpad free trial?

Yes, 14 days for Connect, and you enter a payment method to start. Source: Dialpad sign-up help.

Can I cancel Dialpad any time?

Monthly plans, yes. Month-to-month accounts with 10 or fewer licenses cancel in Admin Settings. Larger accounts go through Dialpad's Customer Success Team. Annual plans, no: leave early and you owe the rest of the year, plus any disconnection fee, with no refund. Give notice 30 days before the term ends, or it renews. Source: Dialpad cancelling help.

Can I keep my number if I switch to Dialpad?

Yes. Dialpad ports US local and toll-free numbers, and the number keeps working during the move. A toll-free number cannot send or receive texts on Dialpad, and Dialpad bills every incoming call to a toll-free line. Local ports typically take 3 to 7 business days, toll-free 5 to 10, but if your details do not match the old carrier's, it can take over 2 weeks. Keep your old service active until the port is done. US ports are free. Porting needs a paid Dialpad plan. Dialpad then bills the number by where you assign it, such as a user line or a Department. Source: Dialpad porting FAQ.

What do Dialpad reviews say?

On Trustpilot, Dialpad scores 4.0 from 3,233 reviews. Dialpad invites its customers to review there, good or bad. On G2, Dialpad Connect scores 4.4 out of 5 from 4,227 reviews. Dialpad gives phone support only on Pro and Enterprise. Standard users get web, email and chat help. Source: Dialpad on Trustpilot.

Is Dialpad good for contractors and home services?

Dialpad's receptionist page names contractors, HVAC firms and plumbers. It says the agent can gather job details and route urgent calls to an on-call technician. One Dialpad customer story is Service Today, an Australian plumbing, electrical and air conditioning firm with 190 staff. Dialpad's help center names no ServiceTitan, Jobber or Housecall Pro link. It does list PestPac and RealGreen add-ons for pest and lawn firms. They open the caller's record and log the call. Neither says it books jobs. Turning them on needs Dialpad's Professional Services team, which may cost extra. Source: Dialpad AI receptionist.

Is Dialpad AI included in Connect?

Dialpad AI, yes: transcripts and recaps. The AI agent bills per conversation. The agent is paid from a pool of AI Agent Credits, not per seat, so adding users does not change what each conversation costs. An admin must turn Dialpad AI on. Source: Dialpad pricing.

How much does Dialpad texting cost?

First you register with The Campaign Registry. It charges $4 and $15 once, then $1.50 to $10 a month. Each Connect user then adds 250 outbound texts a month, pooled across the office. After that, each text costs $0.008, and each picture message $0.024. Incoming texts to a user's own number are free. Texts on shared lines, like the Main Line, cost $0.008 both ways. A toll-free number cannot send or receive texts on Dialpad. One user sending 500 texts a month pays 250 x $0.008 = $2, plus the registry fees. Source: Dialpad text registration and Dialpad shared line texting.

How does Dialpad's AI receptionist work?

An admin builds the agent under AI Agents in Admin Settings. You describe its tasks, voice and greeting in plain words. Then you add documents or your website as its knowledge. To put it on calls, set a Main Line's or Department's routing to No operator, then To an AI agent. On a call it greets the caller and asks why they called. It handles routine requests and routes the rest, with the context passed on. It ends a call after 90 seconds of silence. Sources: Dialpad agent setup help and Dialpad AI receptionist.
